Common Questions
How do I join the dev team?▼
Fill out the application form above. It sends a webhook to our Discord where the bot adds review buttons. The owner reviews and responds within 7 days.
What happens if I get declined?▼
You'll receive a Discord message. There's an automatic 30-day cooldown before you can reapply. Use that time to improve your portfolio.
What happens if I get accepted?▼
A private ticket channel is created. You'll fill in additional details (full name, age, DOB, country, about yourself). After final review, you receive the Dev Team role and full studio access.
Do I need experience?▼
Passion and a portfolio matter more than years. Show us what you can do.
Is this a paid position?▼
Revenue share is available for senior contributors on shipped titles. Details discussed during onboarding in your private ticket.
Can I apply for multiple roles?▼
Yes. Mention it in the "Why DecayForge?" section and we'll figure out where you fit best.
What's the Discord bot do?▼
It handles the entire recruitment pipeline: receives webhook applications, adds review buttons, creates private tickets, manages roles (In Waiting → Dev Team), enforces cooldowns, and sends accept/decline DMs.
